So what did your character tell you today?

Has your character done something that surprises you?

One of my main characters has developed a childlike vulnerability that was unexpected - cheekiness, yes and bravado but during a quiet moment in the eye of the storm (a lot is happening right now), I realized his aloofness is really like that of a little boy with his lip stuck out as he puts on a brave front. Poor thing. And then there is the next disaster on the way...

The word count today is 15,000! Can you beat it? Excerpts? Concerns? Questions? Hugs? We must keep writing, Nano Writer!
