Umm, should I admit that I sometimes write just a few more words to make the chart look pretty too?
It sounds like you're having a lot of fun with your characters! That's as wonderful a thing as your word count!
Oh and I love the way the relationship between Shiri and her mother feels real. The whole excerpt is nicely done.
