Well, I hit 50044 at 9.45 last night GMT, and finished off the chapter with another 1214 words just after 1 o'clock this morning. As the site wasn't lagging by the time I'd finished I decided that I may as well validate before the rush sets in :D A total of 51258 gave me the purple bar, so by the time I've completed the final two chapters I think the grand total will be around the 55k mark.
