It’s the beginning of the weekend, Nano Writer and a great time to catch up on those word counts or add something to a nice "just in case" buffer. The word count for today is 20,004 and time to break out another one of those “10K” prizes if you’re on a mini-reward system! Questions? Comments? A tumble or stumble of inspiration to share? Lol, between my two novels, I've still only got 1141 words. But that's better than no words, I'm just so pressed for time these days because of school and work.

Here's the intro to the one I'm focusing on:

The month leading up to The Incident was marked by various changes in Daniel Porter's life. His senior year had thus far been consistently dull and uneventful, but a small nudge from Ruth and sudden burst of confidence would cause the drastic turn he needed to get out of his rut.

Things went quite well, and then went rapidly downhill.
