NaNoWriMo 2012 - Day 25

Day 25 - 5 days remaining

Nothing is impossible, the word itself says ‘I’m possible’!

— Audrey Hepburn

Today's word count is 41,675! And as the lady says, nothing is impossible - especially if you look at what you think is an impossible task in another way.

Think that you can't get it done because you don't have the time? Come at this from another direction and consider ways you might fit writing into five minutes of "re-purposed" time you already spend... waiting for an appointment, before class starts, during a coffee break, while the water boils for tea... Think about how many words you can write in five minutes and then multiply that by all the "five minutes" you might find in a day. It adds up.

Challenge yourself! Make it happen! And most importantly, don't give up! Because you can do it!

Questions? Comments? Today validation goes live on the NNWM site! If your word count is 50k or better, it time to run your work through the validator! For everyone else, the finish line is waiting for you... so keep writing!

I am so, so glad I got my 50k last Sunday, because...well, my life got pretty chaotic from Tuesday onwards and I didn't feel like writing anything at all. Still, validating and seeing the "congratulations!" has lifted my mood a little and, hey, maybe I'll write a bit more -- there's still a lot of story my character needs to tell!

Congrats on reaching the 50k line! And yes, the purple winner banner does manage to lift ones mood a little. ^^
And I know all about life turning chaotic and having no time to or not feeling like writing. *hugs* Hope it will all be better soon and that you'll manage to write some more - seeing the story is long but finished. ^^
