And no worries if you've passed 50K but haven't quite made it to "The End": validating your word count only confirms that you've written 50K and changes your green status bar to purple. You can still update your final word count through November 30.

Hit 50K ten minutes before midnight, refreshed the site until the validator went live for me, and have my shiny purple winner's bar. This is the fastest I've ever cleared NaNoWriMo and I'm super proud of myself.

And now, bed, so I can get up and help my Mom make dinner tomorrow.

I don't know what happened, but yesterday after training, I managed to write... Write lots... XD I haven't counted my words yet. Am going to do so after I've written today... But I have the feeling I am nearly there... *excited squeel*
Seeing I won't have time during the weekend... I guess I'll be finished by Monday. XD Right on time. *grins*

My MC goes to do some voluntering... In an orphanage... Quite a challange to write... XD

I broke 50k! And have an idea of how to end the story, even. This year's journay has been fantastic.

Well, I hit 50044 at 9.45 last night GMT, and finished off the chapter with another 1214 words just after 1 o'clock this morning. As the site wasn't lagging by the time I'd finished I decided that I may as well validate before the rush sets in :D A total of 51258 gave me the purple bar, so by the time I've completed the final two chapters I think the grand total will be around the 55k mark.

Well I hit the wordcount but not quite the story yet. :D That I'm aiming to finish within the next few days even if I have to do a lot of time skip jumps! :D

congratulations to all, and best wishes to all in the final push! i'm also a winner, at 57614. and i finally wrapped up Part 2. yay!

i am probably going to take it pretty easy today, go for a walk in the snow and make some Thanksgiving paella. i'm feeling pretty good about getting things the story wrapped up by December 1. my writing partner is on track too and the snow should help us have a relaxing and productive weekend.

Context for today's excerpt: some pictures and videos of a dinner at Aphrodite's have been uploaded to Facebook and mistakenly shared more broadly than intended. Don't you just hate it when it happens? Anyhow there is now a lot of drama, and Kallisti is checking missives on g0ddesses.net. The first two, from Eris and Xochiquetzal, aren't bad at all.

I had been expecting worse news and now it seemed like there was a possibility that I wasn't actually on four goddesses' wrath lists after all. So I was in a somewhat more optimistic mood when I clicked on to the missive from D and had to read it a couple of times to make sure I had gotten it all right.

Kallisti, it is not my style to make public declarations of wrath but I am not very happy with you at all. Aphrodite says she warned you about the likelihood that the photos and videos would get out and now a lot of goddesses are very openly saying that you're favoring her and Helen is some kind of quid pro quo. Yes their opinion is very disrespectful to both of you but given the history you can hardly blame them.

At any rate it would be best if you didn't come into the office for the first few days next week. Your priority is to work with Artemis to get firm offers for the company and the assets. Let's have dinner Thursday evening and block off all Friday morning for a discussion. Then Monday is the emergency emergency board meeting and then the TWIST.

Given the situation I hope you understand that I need to distance myself from you and so I will have to ask you to move to a hotel. Kalliope has set something up in La Sirena, you can move there tomorrow before I return. That way you won't have to deal with the moonlets either. You will continue to report directly to me with same dotted and indirect lines as before.

Congrats to everyone who finished today! I'm at 48657 with just the epilogue left to go, so I should be able to finish up both the word count and the story easily tomorrow. Yay!
