Possibly the thing that proves hardest to overcome for most writers is finding the time to write, blessedly uninterrupted and distraction free. After all, no matter how much we might live in our heads, ultimately we must come away from our story and participate in the "real" world: school, the job, family and friends, laundry (wait, that's what's next on my to-do list).
