Today's word count is another milestone: 30,645! For Nano Writers on a 10K rewards system, time to break out the next treat to celebrate 30,000 words. For me I decided on both a chocolate truffle and a new little charm for my notebook ;-)

And for those days when even the promise of a treat does nothing to encourage the muse, go ahead and blow something up! Anything and everything, from a tire to an entire town, shake things up in a radical, comes-out-of-nowhere, totally random way. Write about how your characters handle the situation and infuse new excitement into your story!
