Today's word count is 31,667! How is everyone coming along? Having some trouble finding the time to write today? Well not to get anyone in trouble or anything but...

You might take inspiration from today's quote! So while you're waiting in line to buy tickets or after you got your seats and before the previews, write out that next scene in your notebook or your smart phone or netbook. Count the minutes before the movie begins in words written for your own version of the next great story of our times. Or you might try... ;-)

I love that quote!! ^^ Because it is true! Really. I do type at work when nobody is looking. XD And I've written another piece while I was on the bus to work. ^^
I'm at 27.901 words. And damn it, today is only half a day I need to work... And I am going to shop with my mother this afternoon, and this evening I have a volley game. And then it is weekend... Weekend equals nearly no time to write... Though *ponders* I think I am free Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning... *glittering eyes* Yes! time to write! *grins*

Writing location secrets? I write everywhere. When I'm waiting for the bus. While I'm on the bus. At work. In the car on the way to volley training (when my mother or sister are driving, of course. XD) In my room. In my bed when I am supposed to be sleeping (and of course that is when inspiration and words and sentences and subplots and plots keep on coming... ^_^") Luckily for me I always have at least 1 notebook and 2 pens with me. Everywhere. XD

But now I have to finish the story.

I DID IT!

Today, I broke the 50K mark!!! Okay, there's still like two thirds left to write in order to finish the story, but…
JESUS CHRIST RIDING A BROOMSTICK, I WROTE 50K WORDS IN 19 DAYS!!!

Okay, feeling better now, I just had to get this out. My first real NaNo, and I did it. Now, my inner editor is allowed to come back home. I need him to finish the remaining two thirds. LOL

wow, what a week. i haven't managed to do any fiction writing since Tuesday night (although I did a lot of blogging, including one 3000-word post that I wrote in four hours ... too bad it doesn't count for NaNo :-)).

so it was a real inspiration to get to this thread and see people getting over 50K. hopefully i'll join you this weekend!

Sitting at 32112 this evening and I'd like another 200 words but I'm tired and I'm glad for the extra 200 I got this evening, I have a near impossible time writing at night.

Anyway, holding steady on target, tomorrow is a new day. I think if I can make it past 35000 I'm gonna be in better shape.

In other news I have written EVERY DAY for the last 19 days. That blows my mind.

36910 for me! That quote made me laugh, since I spent most of my chemistry lab today writing out the next section of my novel while I was waiting for my reaction to finish. It was interesting trying to figure out what I'd written after the fact, but it was a few hundred words down.
