Sure technically it's 27 minutes past midnight by the time zone I'm in right now, but it's still the 26th in my home time zone! ;)
48,155 by the word count validator. 48,340 by Scrivener. That 200 word gap is tricky! But I should be on track to finish on the plane tomorrow. I'm halfway through the big climactic scene, which is sort of turning into the heroine really finding she understands the villain a bit too well, but I can always make it more tense later. The end is in sight, both of the draft and the wordcount! (The wordcount will very definitely get there first.)
