Nano-Writer’s Challenge: What IS That? Part 2

Hey all! A quick announcement: Nano-Writers' first writing challenge - part 1 is now closed. I would like to sincerely thank all the Nano Writers who participated!

We continue now with Part 2 of the challenge which was inspired by the following advice:

If you want to be a writer, you must do two things above all others: read a lot and write a lot.

Last week, fourteen intrepid Nano-Writers took on the challenge to spend five minutes writing a list of descriptive words for an item found on their desk (or easily at hand). The challenge now for you Dear Reader!Writer:

1. Take a moment to read over what your fellow authors have written.
   
   
2. Identify the object described by the author and write your answer into the space provided.
   

Please complete the answer form/poll by next Friday, May 15 (11:59 PM EDT). Every member will receive one point for each correct answer. The winner for this challenge will be the member with the highest point score. “Close” answers will be recognized at the admin’s discretion. Remember: specificity counts!

In the event of a tie, the final winner will be selected by a random drawing from the list of members with the highest tied scores. The winner and prize will be announced next Monday, May 18!
