And where did your story take you today, Nano Writer?
10K today! Are you keeping up? Are you getting caught up in your protagonist's troubles (and there should be a whole world of troubles) and do better than 10K? Tell us! What's your protagonist's favorite expression? My POV character seems to swear a lot by "the Mother's Soul" (sometimes just "Mother" ;-).
For better or worse, keep writing Nano Writer!

Date: 2009-11-07 03:27 am (UTC)I took in the situation; I couldn't move forward and back. I couldn't not do as Haimua said--I could, but the results would ultimately be the same. Haimua would win. The world around us bowed down to her will, just as she had it arranged, and it just reminded me that I was no one, in a limbo state. The one with no name, as Priestess Zini had said.
And more than ever, I resented Haimua and this power she held. Power that didn't belong to her--power that I didn't want, but felt was more rightfully mine than hers.
Today, my protagonist got backed into a corner, observed an execution, and was told she will definitely become The Mother's Eyes. Tomorrow's the ritual, and the day after that the next section of the plot kicks in =)
