And so Nano Writer, a most remarkable month draws to a close - the first ever Camp NaNoWriMo! We've had word from several writers about crossing the 50K finish line and it must be said: Well Done! But I also want to congratulate everyone who signed up for the July camp, took a chance on the beta site and participated in the challenge despite the odd bug or two!

Writing during July was a great experience for me, something I found to be very different than November. I really appreciated the additional hours of sunlight (being north of the equator). The extra day was a nice bonus as well :-)

And three cheers for all the Nano Writers signing on for August! It should be great fun as well, especially with all the bells and whistles in place. Wishing all Nano Writers Good Luck and a wonderful journey! And as always, keep writing!

Yeah, I stalled at just over 4k words, but kidney stones will do that to a person's creativity. Am still planning to do August again, since the big stone passed and I'm feeling more normal now.

Wow... (>_<) I'm very happy to hear that you're feeling better now. I hope that you'll be able to finish your story this August and that you'll pass the rest of the stones without symptoms!

Managed to finished editing the NaNo 2010 story. Which is now 54 words shy of 50k. (Apparently I write too many dialogues when going past 50k is a must)

Got to about 27k, got distracted by apartment hunting, and after a couple of days stopped kidding myself that I'd be able to catch up. Ah well, maybe I'll be able to finish it up next month.

Apartment hunting can be tough! But oh! you were more than halfway to the finish line - hope that you'll have the time to finish your story this August!
