Today's word count is 6,451 words - how's everyone doing? By now, the first part of your novel should be coming to life... your characters going about their everyday lives, little suspecting how everything is about to change...

Yesterday was kitchen shopping, so no time to write for me... But today ... Today will be filled with words (and work *grumbles when she hears the phone ring*)

I think my MC is going to confess her love today. And being rejected. It might hurt writing that down ... *ponders*

So far this month, I have nothing. Zip, zilch, nada, none... it's like my motivation skipped town and didn't leave a forwarding address.

Oh no! It happens. This is the time a lot of writers start over with a new story or quit on their old one. If I may ask: did you lose interest in the story itself or is it you don't know where to take the story next?

Perhaps you might be able to "reboot" by trying something new - a different setting, a new character, sometimes even just a sudden change in the weather gives you a new perspective...

Please don't give up! Is there some aspect of the original story that still intrigues you?

It's more a case of I fell in love with a title and a character but getting a plot to fit them is driving me nuts. So, I have no clue what I'm doing or anything else with the story.

I'm playing some serious kinds of catch-up for my CampNaNo.

I started the day at 1,890.

I'm currently at 4,072.

I'm trying to push forward as much as I can, but at some point my brain's going to fizzle out and I won't be able to write anymore.

Wow! That's great progress! You probably should consider taking a break so that you don't burn out. But you should be very proud of what you accomplished!

I'm just under 7k at the moment, and I may write a little more before I go to bed. I changed up the way I'm fitting some of the early scenes together, and it seems to be flowing a lot better now, so hopefully tomorrow will be a very good day.
