Break out the last of those 10K incentive treats, Nano Writers because today's word count is 40,322!
And if you find that you're running low on plot or if you just want to shake things up a bit, try adding a dash of bad weather or some other kind of disaster, either natural or man-made, to your story and see what happens! At this stage of your story, does your main character give up in despair or roll-up-her-sleeves and take on the elements?
