Today’s word count is 30,006! And time for mini celebrations and "10k" prizes if you've got 'em. Mine is the two C's - chocolate and a chapter - a nice dark chocolate and a chapter (maybe two) of my current read - a little incentive to help reach for just a little more which can be hard after finishing a tough scene.

So how is everyone doing? Questions? Comments? Swedish Fish fans? It's all good, so keep writing Nano Writer!

Went back today and finished the prologue. It is ten thousand words long (more than three times what I wanted) and accomplishes none of what I wanted it to accomplish, but goddammit it's done.

Overall wordcount for today is 25,370, which is pretty impressive considering I effectively cut 2000 words--in reality I just stopped counting some words I shouldn't have counted to start with. Still short, but that is way further than I expected to be after leaving it alone all week. Hopefully in the coming week I can stop leaving it alone and get really caught up.

Pretty sure 75k in the month is out of the question, but I think 75k in the story is perfectly plausible. O.o
